Feadship 809 is a 66.25m motor yacht, due to launch in 2015 from Feadship in Kaag ( Netherlands ). Eidsgaard Design is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design.
Smart layout
In addition to four guest suites located on the main deck with great views, Project 809 features an enormous VIP stateroom which can also be converted into two guest suites. Enormous effort has gone into ensuring that this VIP stateroom gives no hint that it can be split in this way. Thanks to some very clever engineering, an entire wardrobe slides between the suites to create a separate walk-in closet when the space is in VIP mode. The stateroom also has its own single door and the concealed individual doors only come into play when the two guest suites are required. Your honoured guests or family members will be thrilled with this arrangement. And it also offers serious benefits if you choose to charter your Feadship.
Full owner’s deck
Perfectly placed in the most comfortable area possible amidships, the owner’s quarters cover the full beam of the yacht and include a wonderful extendible balcony and a lounge area that can be closed off with sliding doors to create a separate room. Add in the refined ambience, his & her bathrooms, the most comfortable of beds and every conceivable luxury, and you have some very splendid surroundings indeed in which to enjoy your time onboard.
Full-height atrium
The exterior glazing to this staircase is also unusual in the fact that the superstructure is cut away from the glass at the main deck level to allow the
glass to continue its path through to the sun deck uninterrupted. It offers you and your loved ones a spectacular impression from every angle.
Main deck delights
There is much to see and do on Project 809’s main deck, and the way in which these pleasures are enjoyed is very much a matter of – your – choice. The sumptuously spacious main lounge can be separated from the delectable dining room by hidden sliding doors or kept as a vast open-plan area. Taken as a whole with the adjacent full-height atrium, this entire zone is a true haven of relaxation.
Wind down in style
If you like building up a sweat for the right reasons, you’ll welcome the options on Project 809. The views of the ocean from the large sauna are stunning, and the fact that the sea then becomes your personal plunge pool makes the experience even more enthralling. You also have a great vista of the wide waters from the gym, which makes exercise (quite literally) a breeze. After pounding the treadmill awhile, chill out on the Sea Level Beach
Club platform (see overleaf) or head to the adjacent massage room, which also doubles as a hairdressing saloon.
Sea-level beach club
The sea-level beach club offers unobstructed views over the open sea and ensures you are completely in touch with the water. Let the fun and games begin!
Open all are as
Spending time with family and friends is the very essence of the superyacht life. On Project 809 a smart layout ensures people stay connected with each other and the outdoor environment thanks to social links between the indoor and al fresco spaces. There is a full-beam sea terrace area, with easy access to the beach club. Another fine place to relax is the raised central seating area on the main deck, providing uninterrupted views to the horizon. The adjacent bar will ensure this becomes the focal point for large onboard social gatherings. And, as we shall see, those looking for a more intimate moment will also find plenty of dedicated places onboard Project 809.
Extendible balcony
The owners have their own private extendible balcony, only accessible via their own lounge.
Multi-purpose sun deck
Imagine the multi-purpose sundeck with its panoramic vistas over the sea, complete with a Jacuzzi, bar, sunbeds and a lovely seating area.
