The German company Lürssen founded in 1985, is based in Bremen-Vegesack. It can be fairly considered one of the most important shipbuilder of private and charter mega yachts in the whole world. The company owns several shipyards that are very busy constructing and selling luxurious motor yachts of unlimited length.

In order to answer the customer’s most unique requirements, Lürssen has a team of more than hundred naval architects and engineers, who cooperate with leading world-famous designers to find the creative solutions and create a megayacht masterpiece.

For example, the famous charter yacht CAPRI, 60 meters, is believed to be one of the largest super yachts on the market, however, Lürssen considers her quite small, because its new constructions include such giants as PELORUS (115m) for Roman Abramovitch and OCTOPUS (125 m) for Paul Allen, the co-owner of Microsoft.

Many of the yachts built at Lürssen are known as the most “wanted” on the sale and charter market.
