Blohm+Voss says that its new semi-custom BV80 superyacht combine’s the builder’s proven engineering prowess with flexibility and, of course, the short lead time that a semi-custom yacht can provide. The yacht’s hull, machinery and superstructure will be pre-engineered, but there is still much left to the owner’s personal choices.
She accommodates 12 guests over 7 luxurious rooms, as well as up to 23 staff and crew over a total of 13 cabins. Her interior layout and guest areas are completely customisable by the owners, allowing for a personalised and unique boat. In addition to her layout, the exterior paint can also be fully customised in line with the owner’s wishes.
Her outside deck areas are extensive, and amenities include a Jacuzzi, swimming pool, outdoor fire-pit, touch-and-go helideck forward and extensive beach club. One of her most notable features is the large main deck pool house and entertaining areas, which provides ample space to both relax and socialise. Stepping in from the glass panelled pool house, guests have a variety of options, including a comfortable, covered seating and dining area, a large pool and several sunbathing areas as well as a bar.
The first BV80 is already in an advanced stage of development, allowing the shipyard to offer potential owners a particularly short lead time. If construction started today, the first vessel could be be launched in 2017.
