Semi-displacement yacht in aluminium – 499 GRT – Delivery 18 months from the signature of the contract.

Admiral 53 is an elegant and stylish, high-tech 53-metre craft, built by the prestigious Italian shipyard, Admiral.

The yacht will have a revolutionary hybrid power system with2x MAN V12 1800 – 1324 kW @ 2300 rpm as main diesel engines and two electric propulsion systems.

The reduction/reverse gearboxes are double input and single output. Further there is a controllable pitch propeller system. The combination of these systems will push the yacht to a top speed of 18,5 knots, impressive for a boat of this size. Also remarkable is that when using only electric motors the yacht, at a speed of 9 knots (or more), and maximum range 3500 nautical miles at speed of 11 knots + 10% fuel margin.
