1970 founding of the world wide success of Drettman Yachts was laid - all began with Dierk & Traute Drettmann who set up a small business selling pre owned boats.
1989 their son Albert followed their footsteps together with his wife Claudia and took over the management of the company. In 1993 building of the Elegance- and Bandido Yachts range started. Three futher brands, the DDC, DEY and DMY followed and reached international acclaim.
In 2006 the representative headoffice in Bremen was built – situated directly on the river Weser with own moorings and show room. Overall 10.000 yachts were sold by Drettmann, from a small tender up to a Superyacht – approx. 1600 new boats in sizes between 10m to 55m were sold.
In a permanent exhibition with up to 100 pre-owned boats of different brands Drettmann Yachts is well known as one of Europes biggest indoor show rooms.
Over the last 44 years Drettmann Yachts has worked together with renowed boat manufacturers such as Neptunus, Cobalt, Jade and Horizon. Over 20 years ago Drettmann started building their own brands. The Elegance and Bandido range, at the shipyard Horizon and Jade in Taiwan. These two brands were very successfull and over 300 boats have been built. Today Drettmann Yachts is one of the biggest dealers for pre-owned yachts in Europe.
The next Generation of Drettmann Yachts engineered in Germany now under construction. Recently started cooperation with leading shipyards worldwide offers the possibility of producing yachts in the highest quality. Whilst retaining the well known Drettmann value for money.
This formula offers German quality and high class workmanship to comptetitive prices.
The new Drettmann Motor Yachts (DMY) range starts at 21 m up to 37 m, offering new ideas and innovations like a Beach Club and Spa. The vessel has a host of interesting and innovative features for an excellent value for money.
