Description of YQUEM
YQUEM is a 31.70 m custom cutter-rigged sloop designed by Bill Tripp and built in 1992 by the American yard Windship-Trident, with an interior by Donald Starkey. Comprehensively refitted between May 2025 and August 2026 - hydraulics, electrics, plumbing, propulsion, rigging, navigation electronics and interiors - she accommodates eight guests in four en suite double cabins, with three separate crew cabins. Her 460 hp LUGGER main engine was fully refurbished and showed zero hours in August 2026. Epoxy composite hull reinforced with Kevlar, SPARCRAFT carbon mast, 535 m2 upwind sail area and a 1,900 NM range. Lying in Valencia, Spain, under Maltese commercial flag and offered VAT paid.
