Wim Van der Valk Continental lV 28.50

The Continental lV (Trawler) is one of the latest additions to our range of yachts. It has been in production since 2008 and quite a special ship. It is a classical and timeless design and in the design we have taken special care to ensure the best possible sailing capabilities. It is an original  round-bilged design ensuring excellent sailing capabilities. The ship is extra heavy with an underwater ship which is built with 8 mm steel sheets. This to add extra stability and comfort to the ship. The round bilged hull, which gives maximum fuel efficiency, in combination with the large fuel tank give this ship a very long range.

This series of yachts features the following:

• A two level layout, as follows:
• On the lower level, from back to front, a large storage area which is located directly below the large and open aft deck. In front of the storage area, which can also be used as a crew cabin, you will find the engine room which can be accessed from both sides. In front of the engine room you will find the cabins and bathrooms etc.
• In the upper level you will find the large wheelhouse connecting the very large aft deck. The wheelhouse is large enough to house all your daytime area’s such as steering position, galley, dining and salon area.
• The Trawler is designed in such a way that your very large and open aft deck is located close to the waterline giving you the feeling of being more in contact with the water around you.
• The Trawler is standard equipped with a fly bridge.

The Continental Trawler series is available in sizes between 17  and 36 meters.

Naturally the standard equipment on this model is again very complete. The bigger the ship, the more extensive the standard equipment will be. As in all Wim van der Valk Yachts the interior is 100% “Custom-Built” according to all your special needs and wishes. Also on the exterior there are some possibilities to meet your personal requirements and wishes.

The Continental Trawler series  are of an original  “Round-Bilged” design.

Apart from the “full steel” 17 meter version, the Trawler features a Steel hull and an Aluminium superstructure which will ensure an even better stability.

The Continental Trawler is only available in a Full Displacement” version which is equipped with a Conventional drive system.

All Continental Trawler models are CE-Class A (Ocean) approved.
