- Refit/Maintenance Details:
2019 MAJOR REFIT
DEEP BLUE II did an exhaustive refit and upgrades during the winter 2018/2019 costing many millions of euros covering (but not limited to) the aesthetic look of the exterior, significant comfort improvements to the interior, as well as very detailed engineering improvements and renewals. All have highly improved the yacht’s appearance and overall feel.
ENGINES & GENERATORS
Total rebuild of MTU engines and gearbox zero-hours using authorised dealer.
New plumbing and hot water system throughout the vessel.
Rebuild and service of all pumps, cranes, hydraulic systems.
Upgraded Stabilisers - anticipated 30% improvement to stability!
New A/C system, with detailed purification and cleaning of all air vents with proper biological certification.
Extraordinary amount of detailed maintenance, renewal and servicing of all technical equipment and areas on board including a revamp of the engine room.
INTERIOR
They are removing all the brown suede throughout changing it for something light and luxurious to lighten/modernize in all areas.
All red leather surfaces will be redone.
Introduction of general artwork and additional mirrors throughout.
Upgrade bathrooms flooring and general amenities
Rebuild and modernisation of spa bath equipment
Upgrade of the crew quarters
Audio & Visual equipment:
New AV, TV and stereo system throughout the yacht.
New Wi-Fi system throughout incorporating latest technologies for better connectivity
Main Saloon:
New Wenge flooring

New high-quality fully retractable curtains providing full views through the glass windows improving exterior viewing capacity by about 20%.
Re-designed Open plan: the centrepiece of the saloon is being removed to offer a wider area.
Bridge deck:
Completely refurbished bridge deck lounge
New furniture incorporated looking modern and stylish.
New flooring to a darker timber matching main deck floor.
New blinds to allow more light & view.
EXTERIOR
Exterior repaint of all window lines and other areas in black to give a much sleeker & modernised look to the vessel overall
Redesign of the sundeck to include a 5 m roof extension for both aesthetics and shade purposes
Removal of tender cradle totally and insertion of four sun lounges.
New lounge cushions & exterior furnishings
Introduction of Barbecue on the Sundeck
New gym equipment (weights and running machine)

2M EUR refit including full hull and superstructure paint job. New generators. Interior refurbishment including some new carpeting, some new fabrics, new wood flooring in certain areas, all new exterior furniture/cushions.

DEEP BLUE is the success story of a yacht that combines quality construction with a detailed and thoughtful design that considers every aspect of life on board, from the domain of the owner and his guests to that of the crew and their working areas. This fully ocean-going vessel has a range of 2,800 nautical miles and was completely refitted in 2007, with interior design by Paolo Rossi. Her superior design and construction were internationally recognised when, a few years ago, she won the prestigious SHOWBOATS INTERNATIONAL AWARD for the best Semi-displacement yacht over 40m.

CABINS
DEEP BLUE II’s intelligent interior design sleeps up to 10 guests in a flexible four or five cabin layout.
Comprising a full beam master suite located on the main deck with his & hers en-suite with a bathtub &shower, and with an adjoining master office before entering the main cabin. Cabin size: 6m x 4m.
On the lower deck, guest quarters include a full beam VIP stateroom which can be easily be converted into two separate cabins by closing the sliding doors (the 5th cabin may feature two single beds or a double bed). The two cabins have bathroom with showers. Otherwise, if preferred to keep a large VIP, the two sliding panels will remain open and is possible to rearrange the beds to form an L shaped settee.
Two additional cabins are located on the lower deck (aft), one double and one twin cabin, both featuring a bathtub.
All bathrooms throughout feature bidets.
Guest room sizes: 3.60m x 3.60m.
