Mutiara Laut’s design is based on that of an 18th century North Atlantic schooner combined with some local Indonesian influence: that of the traditional phinisi boat. This vessel is one of the most superbly-engineered charter vessels in Indonesian waters with its highly experienced captain and a professional crew of 13. The 3 decks harbour spacious cabins designed with safety, comfort and privacy foremost in mind.
The sizeable VIP cabin on the main deck provides a spectacular view; a real treat if on a honeymoon or a romantic getaway.
The 6 fully air-conditioned guest staterooms on the lower deck are equally well appointed, each with ensuite bathroom, study area, DVD unit, a book library and internet connected PC. All are larger than traditional liveaboard cabins and each designed with subtle individual interior variations. Large portholes fill the cabins with light.
Diving excursions take place under the supervision of highly qualified PADI dive masters who are extremely experienced and knowledgeable of the waters and can guide you to the best diving spots in any given area.
If you have had enough of the ample outdoor and watersports activities that range from fishing to waterskiing besides exploring untouched island territories and the treasures they can offer, there is more than enough to keep you busy on board. Whether you choose to simply sunbathe, read a book, have a massage on the large open deck, sit down with a few friends for a sundown cocktail or clinch a deal over a sumptuous gourmet meal in the main deck saloon complete with all the state of the art conference facilities, the Mutiara Laut and her crew are available to cater to your every need.
The on board cuisine offers all the 5* trimmings you would expect on land. The Mutiara Laut’s top international chef stands ready to dish up the best in Asian and European dishes designed around her guests personal tastes.
The boat also provides a dedicated BBQ area to savour the tastes of the sea or anything that you require chef to serve up while you sit back, relax with something chilled in a glass and enjoy the tropical scenery and the sunset.
