Ann G shortlisted as finalist at World Superyachts Awards 2016

 

Arcon Yachts is delighted to inform you that Ann G is finalist at the prestigious World Superyachts Awards, the Oscar of yachting industry. Ann G is shortlisted as the Best displacement motor yacht below 500 GT.

"Ann G is a truly unique yacht. She is customized to the maximum, all her decks and areas are designed specially for her and in a different way than any yacht of her size. We started working on this project five years ago, at that time we called her 'yacht of the future'. And today we can see that together with architects, designers and Heesen shipyard we've built a vessel who's looks are timeless and still brand new," said Konstantin Kolpakov, managing partner of Arcon Yachts.

For Heesen Ann G World Superyachts Awards is not the first important nomination. In September she already received two 2015 Invictus Yachts Trophies: for best exterior design and best achievements.

Ann G is as well shortlisted at Showboats Design Awards 2016 in two categories: best interior design and best exterior design & styling for a motor yacht below 500 GT. The award ceremony will take place in Kitzbühel on 22nd February.

Arcon Yachts is not new to best of the best yachting awards either. In 2012 their 37-meter Heesen Aurelia already won the World Superyachts Awards.

"With both yachts, Ann G and Aurelia, we were up to building outstanding vessels that would show how different Heesen creations can be, that is why both times we teamed up with best designers, noted Konstantin Kolpakov. Heesen Aurelia was created together with Bannenberg & Rowell, Ann G — together with Reymond Langton and Clifford Denn. Today Aurelia is considered as best yacht in the 37-meter series of Heesen, also she has a great success as a charter yacht. Ann G is not yet for charter, but she’s the real eyecatcher in any harbour she moors”.

Winners of World Superyachts Awards will be honoured at the annual gala evening in Florence on 14th May.
