ALMA was formerly named project/yacht name (Azimut 105). This 31 m (103 ft) luxury yacht was constructed at Azimut Yachts in 2008. Motor Yacht ALMA is a well proportioned superyacht. The naval architecture office responsible for this yacht's design in respect of the yacht was Stefano Righini. The original interior was the brain child of Carlo Galeazzi.
The 16V 2000 M92 engine installed in the motor yacht is built by MTU. ALMA is propelled by twin screw propellers. The main engine of the yacht gives 2216 horse power (or 1630 kilowatts). She is fitted with 2 engines. The total power for the boat is therefore 4432 HP or 3260 KW.
